Motor Compulsory Insurance Policy is a mandatory policy issued as part of prevention of public liability to protect the general public from any accident that might take place on the road.

 

  • The maximum limit of the Insurer’s liability for one event and during the lifetime of the Policy for physical damage, expenses and material damages shall not exceed together a total sum of SAR 10,000,000 (Ten Million Saudi Riyals) as a maximum liability limit for coverage.

Motor Plus Insurance Policy: It is the policy which covers damage to the insured’s vehicle and the civil liability of the vehicle in which the insurer undertakes to compensate any third party in case of damage covered by the policy.

  • Loss or Damage to the Insured Vehicle: Under the Policy, the Company shall compensate Insured for any risk causing damage or loss to the Motor Vehicle; the coverage shall also include any damage caused by fire, theft, lightning or natural disasters such as floods and hail, along with vehicle towing and storage coverage. It also covers third-party civil liability as per the Unified Compulsory Motor Insurance Policy.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

This insurance policy covers claims, being first made in writing against the Insured during the Policy period and the Insured becomes legally liable to pay for breach of duty of professional service arising by reason of negligent act, error or omission committed or alleged to have been committed during the policy period (and retroactive period, if any).

Medical Malpractice Insurance

Medical Malpractice is a Professional Indemnity insurance cover specifically designed for those who are involved in the medical profession such as doctors, nurses, surgeons, technicians etc.

At Orient, we offer Medical Malpractice insurance for individual professionals as well as hospitals / clinics in their corporate capacities.

Our policy is designed to cover private residences including contents therein and other incidental risk exposures against the following principal perils:

a) Fire, lightning, explosions, thunderbolts, earthquakes or subterranean fires

b) Bursting or overflowing of water tanks, apparatus or pipes

c) Bursting or overflowing of fixed oil tanks, apparatus or pipes

d) Burglary, housebreaking, theft, larceny or any other attempt thereat

e) Aircraft or other aerial devices or articles dropped therefrom

f) Storm, tempest and flood

g) Impact by any road vehicle, horse or cattle, not belonging to or under the control of the Insured or any member of the Insured’s household

h) Riot and strike damage

i) Malicious damage

The policy contains the following sections:

Section 1: Buildings
This Section indemnifies loss or damage to building(s) of private dwelling houses or flats and associated domestic offices, stables, garages and outbuildings of massive construction, used in connection therewith and walls, gates and fences around and pertaining to the premises, including landlord’s fixtures and fittings, etc.

Section 2: Contents
This Section indemnifies against loss or damage to contents insured whilst within the building, due to operation of principal perils.

Section 3: Miscellaneous
This Section involves reimbursement against additional expenditure incurred towards rent, etc. in the event of loss or damage to the property insured under Section 1 or Section 2 of the policy.

Section 4: Liability to the Public
This Section indemnifies in respect of claims made against the Insured arising from

  • Bodily Injury or disease to persons
  • Damage to property By any accident or defective sanitary arrangements, in or about the premises up to a limit of Dhs 250,000 on any one occurrence (higher limits can be arranged if necessary).
